More transmission problems

Before condemning the transmission, remove the shift and and lockup solenoids. Clean any debris from the screen and also the solenoids using throttle body cleaner.
You should try a second fluid change, because you only replaced about 1/3 of your fluid.
Definitely check for codes too.

thanks for the help guys its gotten better with time since the initial drain an over fill that I corrected lol it seems to shift at the appropriate times again but its now starting to shift hard not quite as hard as before my whole catastrophe but noticing a slight jerk of the steering wheel still. Do you guys really think its worth rolling the dice on a second drain and fill? I was almost certain I condemned the car after the first one lead to it not shifting out of second at all lol so now that it seems to be back to where I was you could understand why im hesitant?

If the car is slipping, then the tranny is in rebuild condition. If the car is shifting weird then cleaning the solenoid gaskets could likely fix it. If the fluid is red then it should be fine. Just look at it. If it's still dark, drain and fill again.
You should still check for stored transmission codes though.

Even slipping can be caused by bad fluid, since these transmissions use clutch packs.
I'd say that doing the 2nd drain/refill and cleaning the solenoids is worth a shot. Fluid is cheap compared to replacing a transmission.
How did the fluid look when you drained it?

I'm at a loss as to why trans fluid level would be so critical as is being suggested here at or anywhere near max should be fine, too low could obviously be a problem, but a tad high??? Or not adding quite the right amount??? What gives???
