MPG on 2003 2.0 iVTEC...?
Hi!
Newbie to the forum here who's *hopefully* going to be the (probably very proud!) owner of an Accord soon, namely a 2003 2.0 iVTEC Executive! :-)I'm in the process of weighing up the pros/cons of various different options, models, etc and what I'm wondering is, what is an accurate idea of MPG from this car? Can anyone give me some real-world idea (i.e. not manufacturer quoted!) of how economical or otherwise this car would be?
Thanks very much
(PS I hope this is in the right section of the forum - if not then please feel free to move it!)

RE: MPG on 2003 2.0 iVTEC...?
Our 2003 4-cyl 5-spd gets average about 30mpg, but not much is really downtown city driving. I guess I'd say mixed with a fair amount of interstate.
Got as much as high 30s on long interstate drives, if I behave myself (control your right foot).
YMMV, it depends VERY STRONGLY on terrain & driving habits.

I have the same car as Jim but it is an '04. Mid twenties in town, mid 30's on the road with the air conditioner on. Ours are 2.4l so the 2.0l should do as well or better.

LOL! I didn't catch the 2.0 liter. You must not be in USA. Therefore, it's a whole different car. Yours is smaller & lighter, so maybe you can expect better gas mileage. Also, maybe you're in England, using imperial gallons?
The USA Accord is called Honda Inspire, ordepending on where you are it maybe isn't available at all.
