My new baby
I picked up A 91 honda accord the other day. It looks and rides great but with all used vehicles it is not free from problems. I have A few questions to ask. 1st ? is does any one know how to check the power window motors on A lx model.I dont know if the motor is bad or its the switch. It blew out the fuse on the drivers side and rear drivers side too. I dont know if its A shorted out power motor of what?Does anyone have A wire schematic for this honda for power windows?
2nd I have A after market pressure fuel regulatr does this give it more fuel or what? Seems to be drinking the gas

RE: My new baby
Window regulator is probabaly shot. Best bet is a new or used regulator. Check ebay or car-part.com for best prices.
A shop manual is essential to remove the door panel and regulator. You may have some problems since window won't move and it's usually necessary to move the window to access two bolts connecting window to regulator. Window is lifted up/out of window frame to allow access to remove the regulator from door frame. Reinstall new regulator, replace window and you're ready.
Fuel pressure regulator may not be delivering correct fuel pressure (too high) which could cause excess fuel consumption, although I would have though the fuel/air ratio control system would compensate. Measure fuel pressure or perhaps easier, simply replace the fuel pressure regulator w/ stock regulator.
good luck
