not sure if it's anti freeze or not. looks a little thick to be... i just picked up the rad already removed from the old vehicle and there was/is some of this stuff sitting in one of the bottom hoses. they just chopped the hoses when they removed the rad from the car. i'm going to clean it out before installing it anyway. i'm going to start the installation process in an hour or so. hopefully all goes well and I don't need any more parts as i'm in the middle of nowhere right now.i'll be back if i have any more questions :P thanks guys.

Since you're in the middle of nowhere and you need an immediate fix, just stuff some paper toweling or a small piece of a rag in the tranny cooler lines. It should look like a single strip of baseboard, like what's inside the casing in a home. kinda like this:

--|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|--

Don't you just run it for a while with the radiator cap off???

The bleeder bolt is #13 on top of the thermostat housing.

Not sure if this is the issue or not but I've seen where someone has taken that radiator stop leak and put it into the radiator which causes the fluid to change color slightly....
