Could be a bad back light. If the radio still works and you can't see the screen, then a fuse is not likely. You still can easily check your fuses for the radio. Just look in the owner's manual for the fuses.
Since it is new and under warranty, schedule a repair with the dealership.

I've seen reports of this happening in the 16 Pilot's. Many have taken it to the dealer and they reset it and things are good to go.
The reset isn't that hard and you could do it yourself...however I would want the dealer involved so if it happens more and more you have the proper documentation.
