Default need brake pads

I need a brake pad recommendation for a 2003 Acorrd ex-l v6. I drive pretty spiritedly, but I don't need race-track type pads. The midas pads on there now are pretty bad. They squeal and grind like a *****. I've read good reviews of EBC green stuff and Hawk pads. Does anyone use these?

I've had great luck thru the years with Wagner Thermal Quiet
Minumal brake dusting, yet not so hard they glaze the rotors.
The reason Honda changed to such a super hard compound on the pads was to make sure the pads lived thru warranty period. Seems many people drive a new car like they stole it.
Those honda pads are harder than granite and seem to glaze over rotors within 10k miles.
When I worked at the dealer it seemed like every day there was a rotor resurface done under warranty to shut up the squeal noise, caused by glazed rotors

How many miles the current pads lasted? My pads are still the original with 135K miles!!!!

I was blown away this morning when I took the car for inspection. The pads still have a 1/3 of tread left in them!!

The pads work okay, they only have about 7000 miles on them. I just don't like the noise and the way they feel.

The hawk hps pads work pretty well, but they are a bit noisier than the OEMs and will generate more dust. However, one thing from my experience is that after i installed a large subwoofer enclosure in my trunk, my stopping distance has gone down a bit, it seems the hps can accomodate a bit heavier car with its quicker initial bite. They didn't last as long as I wanted them to, about 5000 miles, but that was with spirited driving in the hills (if you're into that there's pretty much no fade)
