Default Negatives of using GM synchromesh in h22 accord

Hi all,

I have a 95 ex w/h22 swap. My car grinds gears and in the past I have used synchromesh in all my cars. I know honda's typically use regular motor oil in place of gear oil. Will using synchromesh cause me problems?

Yeah

I guess I'd have to just double clutch, get my synchros replaced, or perhaps adjust my shifter cables?? It also sometimes comes out of 3rd gear.

I would go with the Pennzoil syncromesh, its designed for brass, copper, and bronze transmission parts. All which is typically found in Honda transmission.

Be aware, you most likely would notice a difference and your most likely grinding due to a bad hub/slider.They get more wear and tear that Syncros and are prone to give out earlier. Trust me,my 2nd gear hub went out within a week of replacing it with a brand new oem one. The 3rd gear slider also started to give before I sold the car.
