I have a 1999 Honda Accord EX 4CYL which I had given to my son for his HS graduation. Well, here a little history, when I got the car back from my son three of the power door locks did not work, only the drivers side, I fixed the other three by the replacing the Actuators, now, when I got this car back from my son he had lost all original FOB(Keyless entry remote control) and now that I have fixed all three power doors locks, I puchased an OEM FOB from original Keyless, which for the life of me I cant program, I even took it to the Honda dealer and they werent able to program it themselve but since I was not paying them for troubleshooting the FOB I was told that the FOB could be the wrong one for this car or something else could be wrong with the car. My question is, what could be wrong with the new FOB or my car, what else can it be wrong, please remember that all powers doors lock now work like charm but unfortunately I cannot program the new FOB. Your input on this matter is greatly appreciated. By the way the new FOB from Original Keyless look identical like the one the car came with.
