Hello everyone,

Still working on my Honda, as I did not hit that megamillions jackpot this past weekend

Once a year, about 10K miles or so I drain the AT fluid from my 97 Accord, 2.2 liter and do a refill with 3 qts.

I am reading about a new AT fluid, called DW-1 and was wondering if other Honda owners had any info. on this new synthetic fluid.

I did a fluid change at 60k miles on my 06 accord, so far I'm at 62k+ and the gear changes are as smooth as silk no complaints so far

 

The DW-1 replaced the Z1
I think the Z1 has been phased out.
No problems using the new stuff.
Also sounds like you are doing a good job taking care of your transmission, I wish I had done the same.
