Default New Owner of a 96 DX but need Some HELP

Okay so today im finally driving the car after a week of fixing the Brake lines. What a pain in the **** but after doing all that took it for a test drive brake 100% good thing i pulled in the driveway and the idle was revving up and down 500-3500rpms then i would accelerate it then it will stop little by little. What could that be a vaccum hose leak or egr valve cleaning or the TPS ?

Now the second thing is the car won't pass 4500 rpms it sounds like it redlines i was pushing it hard and see how it ran but it felt like it was holding like if it was clogged up. I have no idea where to start to finding the issue.

3rd is that my clutch is way to high the guy i bought it off of is a good close family friend of mine and he had changed the clutch on it not so long ago so i went ahead and just rebleed the system and it was good for about 25miles then the same issue again.

My wife is about to kill me cause i sold my Integra to get me into a 4 door and i been working on the car and she aint happy lol.

1. Idle. Check and clean the IAC. Check and bleed the coolant level. Cleaning the TB would also be a good idea.

2. RPM's- Check for stored codes.

3. Clutch-Try bleeding agin, if the pedal goes "back to normal" then I start looking for a leak somewhere.

Well i cleaned out the TB and it was at idle at 500rpm then drove it around for a bit then it went back up to 1300 or so and up n down.

Well i spoke to the guy that sold me the car and he had replaced the clutch master cylinder i bleed it again and same it went high once again. Where should i start looking at ?

Clean the IAC......Check the PVC.

Check the inside of the boot on the slace cyl. Check the Master from inside the car where the rod goes thru the firewall....looking for fluid.

Remove the snorkel from the throttle body, then start the car. When the idle fluctuates, cover the top port inside of the throttle body with your finger. If the idle stabilizes, then the FITV could be the culprit.

Also, that first mark on the tachometer is actually 500 rpm, the second one is at 750, then 1000 rpm is labeled.
