No heat from center vents in auto mode

1. If the view (map orientation) is set to display "North-up", then it just displays an "N" with an arrow above it pointing up. If the view is set to the 3D Map, a circular compass will display and moves, with the red part of the needle always pointing north.
2. The automatic suppose to have a dipstick. The CVT doesn't have a dipstick.

From p. 510 of my owner's manual. "6-cyinder models
Have a dealer check the fluid level and replace if necessary."
No picture of dipstick or location as opposed to the oil section where it actually shows the location of the dipstick as well as pictures of the 2 different type of dipsticks.
The 2013 Honda accord owners manual can be found online, if you don't believe me.

I know what the owner manual states. There is an ATF fluid dipstick. The transmission is on the left side of the engine.
I've been answering all your questions; but, you do not seem appreciative of the free help. So, good luck.

Why wouldn't Honda want the owner to check AT fluid?
The reason I was even wondering about the AT fluid is the annoying engine braking that I'm experiencing and which is apparently by design.
Is there any documentation on at what RPMs or speed the AT shifts into its 6 gears? It appears that there is a downshift (engine braking) when coasting and decelerating at 40 mph, 30 mph, and 20 mph.
Do you know if ECON mode has any affect on these shift points? My Pontiac GTP had a "Performance" button on the shift lever which presumably raised the points at which gear-shifting would occur.

Thought I would provide an update: Now that I've had a chance to drive my new Honda in cold weather I have to say the Automatic temp control works great! It is true that heat is not coming through the center vents, but the car warms up very quickly anyway!
