Default No power after 4K rpms!

Every since my JDM F23 swap, if I try and bring the RPMs past 4K, I lose ALL engine power! I'm using the P0H-L61 ECU which is from the 96-97 Accord EX. So it can't be the ecu. What is really funny is that I tried to hook up a VTEC indicator light the other day, just to see if it was engaging...I never could get it to work. I tried several different lights, and my wiring was correct, but the light would never turn on! I don't think my VTEC is engaging...

Tomorrow I'm going to try unplugging my vtec solenoid and see if it runs any different. If it doesn't then I know it's not engaging anyway.

Engine does the exact same thing when I unplug the vtec solenoid, which leads me to believe that it is not engaging...

Did you try replacing the solenoid gasket?

I haven't tried anything yet. I'm gonna take it back to the guy that did the engine and have him fix it haha. He's the one that "hooked up VTEC" so he should know what's wrong!
