Hey I think I have the same problem. It looks like the oil is coming from the filter but it is probably just dripping on to it. Where is the oil pressure sending unit located? I think I need to change mine as well.

Thanks in advance
Dave

also 1 more thing i tought of,,,,,,,,make sure it is not leaking from the oil sending unit ........it is located above the oil filter ,, pull the plastic boot off and see if it is full of oil ,, i have seen those leak a bunch of times ..
The voice of experience should alwaysbe listened to. Great call DH.

First off,, you need to Diagnose what the problem is,, if it is the oil pressure sending unit ,, yes you need to remove the filter and yes you need to replace it from under the car ..

Thanks....Got it out. Getting a new one today. I also had to change the drivers side cv shaft so there was lots of room under there to get at the sending unit. I am pretty sure it is leaking from there because the oil is pouring down around the oil filter and onto the exhaust only when the car is running. Thanks again!!

The sending unit is located directly above the oil filter... there is a little rubber boot around it if you slide that boot back/pull it back a little and it has some oil in it then that's most likely your problem.
