oil leak
I am leaking oil somewhere on the bottom end. the concentration is around the crank pulley. my first guess is the front crankshaft oil seal. anything else I should consider?

Based on your description of seeing most of the oil around the crankshaft...
There are 3 seals behind the timing belt cover, the crankshaft seal, the balance shaft seal and cam shaft seal. The cam shaft is up high and if leaking would run behind the TB cover and appear low. So, if your sure its not the valve cover gasket, its most likely one of these seals.
If you dig into this, your 75% of the way through a timing belt & water pump replacement job. So might as well replace those also.

I pulled my valve cover and checked the gasket, it's still soft and pliable, not cracks or breaks. I put it back on and made sure it was tightented down correctly. we'll see if that works.
