Default Oil pressure warning light blinking

(f22b2 OBD-I)
this has happened three times in the past week, the car has never done it before. It only occurs after a hard right, goes away once the car is restarted, and blinks incessantly until I do restart it.
I keep checking the oil and it always reads fine, i'm going to let it sit for an hour to confirm that.
My first thought is that it's due to oil sloshing around in the sump during cornering and moving away from the pressure sender. She doesn't burn very much oil, or at least didn't before, but I'll update with what I'm reading for oil level after I check.

Sounds like it is one of four things.

1. Low on oil
2. Bad wire between sender and gauge.
3. Bad sender
4. Oil pump or engine going south - very, very last on the list and many tests before I'd go there.

I've had the flicker before (not on my Honda but another car), from my experience it is usually the wiring going to the sender.

I would first check the connection on the sender unit, then the wiring and then the sender. Think of the flicker like when a light bulb is about to go bad. I would think that when you are cornering like that wherever the connection is bad gets moved just a smidgen.

Oil pump would be a long shot, especially with the flickering. The sloshing should have no effect on the sender.

How long after start up does it start to do the flickering? How long after a restart?

UPDATE:
I was running on like 2.5 quarts of oil. :x
Changed it, came out black after only 2500 miles (5w30 mobil1 full syn)
I know I filled it completely last time I changed it, so I must be burning a LOT more than usual...

I'd look for a leak as well. Also PCV's are cheap and need to be replaced.

Question: if my car doesn't have the second hose on the PCV system, is that going to do bad things?
EDIT: (it has a breather filter on it, I'm not spraying oil into my engine bay)
