Default Outside temperature sensor - where to mount?

I have a 99 Accord V6 that I like a lot. Had it since new. One OEM thing it doesn't have is an outside temperature gauge. So, I bought one at Pep Boys for $10, mounted it on the dash with some velcro, ran the long wire with the sensor on the end, all the way to the front bumper. Worked great. Very accurate, as long as I was moving. If I stopped, especially on a hot day, it would sense the road heat and the readout would go up. Once moving again, within a few miles it would again be accurate. So, anyway, that was 8 years ago that I bought that thing. It finally went totally bad and I bought another one. This time I was determined to find a place to mount that thing where it would be accurate whether I was moving or not. After some thinking, I dropped it into the air intake snorkel behind the drivers side headlight. It works just ok there. It seems to take a very long time to come down to the real temp outside after being in a warm garage all night. Probably because the amount of air moving through the air intalke is not huge. It eventually does read correctly but it takes 15 or 20 miles of driving. On my Ford truck, the factory sensor is mounted right in front of the radiator. I guess the theory is that the fan continually pulls in outside air whether you are moving or not. I will say that the Ford is very accurate all the time. But my accord's fan does not run all the time like the Ford, so the sensor still would not be accurate unless either I was moving OR the fan was on, or both. My question is "Where would be a good spot for the sensor so it would work all the time and work well?" Where are the factory OEM sensors on todays Accords mounted? Maybe the best is to just put it on the bumper again. Or put it in front of the radiator and just beware that I'd have to be moving. I dunno. This is a pet project of mine. It's not really a huge deal but I'd like to conquer it. That kind of thing, you know?
