Overhead light issue
Well I noticed this problem about two nights ago. When driving, usually taking a left turn but not always the overhead light in my car will go crazy. It flashes on and off very quickly but sometimes will stay on for a few seconds. It may have been going on longer but I dont notice during the day. Any ideas as to whats going on? I made sure all the doors were shut.

RE: Overhead light issue
Hey,
I have the same problem with my dome light.
It happens when I corner. I also noticed that it only happens when it rains.
I also noticed that the the door open indicator on the dash shows that the front pass side door is open, evan though it is closed.
The indicator will go out after i take the corner. As I said, this only happens to me when it rains.
I suspect that maybe the passenger side door is getting water in it.
Has anyone else had this problem? I am going to check the passenger side door this weekend to see if it is getting water in it.
Any ideas?

chk the door adjustment ,.....that is the main cause of that ,,,,,,,,if lite is on, push the door inward, watch the dome lite if it goes off ,, adjust door inward like i described in earlier post

RE: Overhead light issue
I think you are right deserthonda, I took a close look at my passenger side door and I could see that it is not closing all the way.
I will adjust the door and let you know the results. Now I just have to find someone to bum an impact driver from to loosen the door striker with....

RE: Overhead light issue
desert_honda was right (sry for the late feedback). My dad fixed it for me tonight. He couldnt loosen the door striker either, so instead he used a blunt (bah im having a brain fart) its a metal rod thats fat at one end and gets thinner and you hit it with a hammer. So it made a divot and then he was able to loosen it. Now it works perfectly
