Yeah, but that's only their names from Honda history & tradition. Somewhere in the distant past they put the radiator & AC condensor alongside each other, so the same air didn't flow through both. Kinda like 1998-ish Civic.

OK thanks for posting the final fix. Glad it wasn't a headgasket.

IS IT REALLY GETTING HOT! Sounds like all the fans are working right. Is the gauge telling you it's hot and it really isn't?? Maybe a bad gauge??

Me 2 im glad it wasnt. i was already quoted $964 to do a headgasket job. which included the heads being sent to the machine shop.and that didnt include the timimg belt ethier or taxes.I was lookin at a cheaper route getting another engine for $550 and getting somebody to drop it in lol.

Yeah, I usually like to check all the cheap simple stuff before going for the big $$$ fix.

Also i picked up my car from the mechanic yesterday and it turns out the radiator fan was blowing the wrong way.thats another reason why also the temp gauge would flactuate besides the little hose that was spilling coolant.it didnt cause it to overheat completely.but all in all im glad he fixed it everythin and turns out i also had a oil leak by the oil pressure which was fixed too. and he washed my engine down lol. so thats the best $175 ive spent in my life.

It wasnt me lol. I just bought the car like 3 weeks ago.Didnt really drive it much because i didnt have a tag on it and the starter was bad. thats the only repair i did myself was the starter. And when i did get the tag i noticed the things wrong with it.And now i have another little coolant leak, this one is coming from a hole in the splash guard. My coolant tank is full and my radiator is full. and i didnt have the ac on. its wierd. i will be making another thread about this with the pic of the hole in the front of the splash guard.
