P0740 & P1750 Trans Codes
2000 Honda Accord LX, 4 cylinder.\, 130,000 miles
Need help from the experts on this forum. I'm very mechanically inclined...been working on cars 30+ years. And I've been searching for the codes P0740 and P1750. I've heard these are "death" so to speak. I'm looking to know if this is a fixable tranny item to make the car reasonably driveable. I've talked with Eagle Transmissions, Dallas, Tx - searched the internet, multiple forums, etc... Candidly, I'm not getting straight answers. If you truly know your stuff, please help. I understand these codes mean a bad TCC or a bad hydraulic control unit.
Can i buy a new TCC in install?
Can i locate the electrical pieces which over heat and turn brown on the circuit board, solder in new parts and fix my issue?
Is this truly a tranmission rebuild kinda fix?
Look forward to some expert advice.
