Default is it possible(Engine swap 4 cyl-V6)

As the title says is it possible to take the 4 cyl out of a car and put a V6 in the same car?

How much could it cost?

hehe dude i had the EXACT same thought.. because they dont make 98 body shapes in manual transmisison with a v6 engine...
from what i asked sum1.. it IS possible but too costly and not worth it because the engine is a lot bigger and may require some component reconfig.. but i may be wrong..

lets see...this is just what comes to mind

Instrument cluster
AC lines
radiator and cooling fans
Motor mounts(larger capacity)
Drive shafts
Transmission
Engine
ECU
Brakes and ABS module lines (front) and disks if they are drums in back
Suspension (you need heftier springs as V6 is 200lbs heavier)
Wheels (5 lug versus 4)
engine accessories (alt PS pump AC compressor)

Might need a new steering rack as well depending upon if the I4 one is in the way or not

I don't think I'll every buy another automatic for myself.... My wife is a different story she won't drive a manual... But as for me if it doesn't have a manual I don't want it

also don't forget that the engines are reversed,,,,, way way too much work + cost ,,like it was suggested you are better off to buy a v6 car outright

I thought they flipped the K series around in the 7th gen....? so that both engines are on the same orientation........

ahha he did not say what year so I guessed as well... to be honest you cannot fit a V6 into a 94 or older accord or any I4 accord from 95-97 unless you cut off the whole front end and weld on the v6 one since it is 3" longer
