possible to wire up an extended idle/ high idle switch?

Also I have to say that doing any modification to the drive by wire system can have very dangerous consequences, you do not want to do that, ever.

Also pop open your hood one day and look at the radiator, take note that it is cheap molded pressed plastic, when it cracks,and it WILL if you leave you car running for hours at a time, the coolant will leak out, your motor will overheat and seize up, and you dog will be dead. Sounds like a pretty crappy day to me.
