Power steering goes out when i go through a puddle
Wondering if anyone has seen this? When I drive through a water puddle( not very deep, 2 inches) at slow speeds like in a parking lot, the car will start to die, the battery light will come on, and the power steering will go out, and after about 3-5 seconds everything goes back to normal. I have had it running and sprayed water from the stop and bottom, but can't make it happen. Any help would be great. Oh it is an 06 accord 4 banger

The strange part is spraying water doesn't do anything.
It's got one serpentine belt to drive everything - alternator, power-steering, etc. But what about a slipping crankshaft pulley? There's a rubber layer between the hub & rim of the crankshaft pulley, easy to miss if you don't know it's there. Did you manage to spray water on that?
