Default Power window problems

Hi everyone. I purchased a 2003 2-door Accord EX V6 a month or two ago and I've been having problems with the driver side power window. The window switch always felt a bit loose, and shortly after I got the car home the switch would stop working intermittently. Every couple of days it would not roll down when I pressed the switch, sometimes fiddling with it would make it work, sometimes I just had to wait a few minutes, and it would start working again. And it was only rolling it down I had a problem with, it would always roll up.

The other day I had the windows down and the driver-side window refused to roll back up. Checked the fuses and they were all fine. I figured it was just the switch. I took the panel apart at home and ended up breaking the switch all the way off (it was apparently already half broken).

So I went to the dealership and coughed up the $175 for a new power switch. The part came in this morning and it did not fix it (but I need it anyway since the old switch is broken). The passenger window still works fine, but I cannot get the drivers side to come up. I'm going to take the door panel off tonight and see if I can see a loose connection or something. Anything specified I should be looking for?

And just today at lunch the passenger window stopped working. Is there another control unit or something for the windows that I could look at?

Also, with the new control unit plugged in my keyless entry doesn't work. Do I need to program it somehow or what? I really appreciate any help you guys can provide as this has been a giant pain having my windows stuck down (thunderstorms all week).
