Default Problem with remote locking

I own a Honda Accord and for a while now I have been unable to lock the doors via the remote. The strange part is that I can use the remote to unlock the doors. In addition I can both lock and unlock the doors via the lock/unlock switch on the two front doors. I assume that this means it can't be a problem with the locking mechanism but that the problem exists somewhere between the remote and the receiver in the car. However I don't know where to go from here. Advice would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Do you have another remote that you can test?

No I don't. I have 3 sets of keys however only one has a remote. Are they expensive? If not I can buy a new one.

I read online that pulling out the fuses and then plugging them back in can fix a lot of electrical problems. Is it safe to try that?
