program honda accord Rear Window Defogger
Hi
I live where we will have a lot of snow.
I have remote start installed on my car. So i was thinking is there any way I can program the Rear Window Defogger so that it is always turned On when I start my Car.
Thanks

I doubt you can program that on your car. What year of accord are we dealing with here? You may want to add your car's information to your signature, so you don't have to remember to post that information ever again.

It is not possible with the Honda remote start for an LX, since it does not have the auto-climate control feature.
If the Accord had auto-climate control, the remote start will do the following: If the temperature is below 45.5°F, the climate control system will automatically set the temperature to 72°F, and activate the A/C, the rear defroster, and heated door mirror. If the temperature is above 45.5°F, the system will automatically set to the temperature to 72°F (AUTO mode).

You could find a big piece of cardboard box or shower curtain and lay it over the rear window in a way that it won't slide off the night before the snow storm. I have used car cover as well, but that is an extreme measure and does take some patience to remove the snow on top of the cover.

Thanks, But removing the car cover it big of a task.
I am think if I could program, I am remote start before getting out from house and by the time I reach the car, i will melt away the ice.
