Yes, I failed to look closely at Autozone manual and missed lower image showing the center tunnel location.

I suggest checking further on ebay and car-part.com for your computer. I've found them to be very inexpensive as a used part.

good luck

Just a word of caution to all out there on the PCM. Buying a PCM is easy but it is only the first part of the story. After you get the PCM and try to install it you will find that the car will not start if you have a chipped key. Your friendly Honda dealer now gets involved. I called and talked to them. Wow! Even if the system is out they expect it to take two hours to do, the cost would be ATLEAST $120 to program and install. So cheap is relative to the situation.

There are other alternatives out there to get a plug and play PCM from someone else away from Honda. I have found one such to be charging $348 to fix mine. Many other PCM for other models are cheaper and easier to get this taken care of, but just a word of warning to all about just buying a PCM and thinking it will work. The PCM has to be able to understand or sync with the key chip and if that does not match forget it, the car will not start. Also, I have talked to another company that said any locksmith should be able to program this and that is far from true. A locksmith can do many things but I don't ever find one that can program pcm to the car chip or the car chip to the pcm. Be wary and educated out there.
