I am in need of answers. I recently entered the code to my 92 Honda Accord EX, the word code went out and the beep sound sounded. Afterwards my radio went blank and would not play. I disconnected the battery and started over from the beginning and the same thing occurred. After the code was entered and the word code went out, the radio would not play. The antenna would go up when the radio is turned on but there is no sound and nothing coming up on the radio.

You placed this in the wrong section. But I am sure that a Admin could relocate it in right location. I am pretty sure that you should have asked this in the section General Tech Help.

So back to your problem,

Did you put the code in one time, or did you have to put it in more than one time??

It sounds to me like you put the wrong code in multiple times and its in a lock down mode.

Double check the code from the owners manual to make sure that you are putting the correct one in.

 

Moved to Gen Tech, as a start....might have to go to audio/visual next????

Anyway, what lead up to this? Was the radio working before?
