Rear brake light works, but not when the brake pedal is depressed.
This is a 2003 Honda Accord LX. The right rear brake light works when the headlights come one, so it is receiving the current. But it does not illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed.
My leading possibility for a cause is the grounding wire for the light. But that is based of reading from stories who experience a similar challenges, but not the exact same.
Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Check the brake light switch behind the brake pedal. Plenty of videos on youtube.
