To rebuild a dizzy, or replace?
I have a dizzy problem with my OEM Vtec Dizzy so I bought one from south florida sales, it's clean and it works, only thing is, I still get the coil code, I don't wanna buy a new one and I have rebuilt my civic and Altima dizzy so I'm confident in my skills.... However, I've Ben hearing around that its not good to replace with a non OEM dizzy which I don't have access to at the moment and my car won't stay on as it is.
Should I be build my OEM Vtec dizzy or take the chance on an aftermarket auto shop dizzy??? Lmk, thanks all!
FYI - I'm running an F22b1 vtec with a non vtec wire harness, everything is wired properly, I have a fully functioning vtec. I'm unsure of the ECM, It's ODB1 but I don't know if its a vtec ECM or non vtec ECM. I have another open thread for that already.

The sensors in distributor are different (don't know why) on the 94 non-vtec engine compared to Vtec engine. No way to "fix" this distributor to my knowledge. Solution is to rebuild or replace your OEM distributor.
good luck
