Default Remote fobs

New car came with a remote fob but it has a crack in the circuit,
What is the frequency for fobs for accord 2003.
I will try to get a second hand honda fob and re-program but if not does anyone know if i can get a universal fob and program to my car.
Car works fine with key as the chip is in the key shank.

Thanks. Adam (uk)

I don't know the answer off hand. I have seen that information on FOBs that I was looking up on Ebay. Ebay or a Junkyard would likely be your best source for replacement FOB.

Since you are located in the UK, your remote and frequencies may be different than U.S. When you open up the remote, do you see a sticker or something with the frequency listed?

For example, this link show a picture of a Honda remote fob opened which shows the frequency. Although this is for a different year U.S. Accord, it shows what I am talking about.

Copy and paste link with quotation marks (" ") to view.
