Default Replaced 02 sensors CEL still on helpppp

96 accord f22b1, 216 something miles

So I recently changed both my o2 sensors because my cel was marking both primary and the one that goes into the cat
So I took it to the shop they replaced both, but the only code that cleared was the sensor that goes to the cat and its still throwing the cel for my primary sensor wich I replaced already. I recently took my car to get a new cat and they replaced both sensors they told me its an electrical problem. Yet again those a holes dint weld up my cat right. Right were the primary sensor is located theirs a slow air leak coming out the exhaust pipe I can feel the air coming out the pipe on my hand they dint weld it right. Can this be maybe why my cel is still markin I'm guessin all that air leakin out the exhaust is foolin the o2 sensor ? Also I took my car to get smogged and it failed both tests the numbers were way over then the limit can a exhaust leak that's before the cat kuz my nox to be very high ? Because the shop told me it makes no diffrence at all if its leakin ??

Basically why isn't my check engine light erasin they told me that they tried clearing it but it keeps coming back up ? I'm stuck guys

Purchased both new sensors
And only one of the two codes erased much help

Need help so I can finnaly register this car and get my plates

I am guessing that you had to use the old wire harness. Make sure that you wired it up properly. Also check the resistance on the two wires that have the same color on the sensor. I think the range is 10-40ohms.

Yea I did use the old wiring harness but I my car was throwing the codes for both sensors and only one went away
You'd figure the guy you juss paid did a good job at this lol I will check the resistance it doesn hurt to try anyone else has any ideas
And can a air leak that's were my primary sensor affect my 02 sensor thius tricking iono juss one of my conclusions or can it really be an ectric problem like they said

Exhaust leaking out onto the outside of the sensor can throw off the measuremnt. But code 41 is about the sensor's heating element, not it's measurement.
