Default Road Noise 2008 EXL-V6

I just purchased an '08 EXL-V6. Love the car, but noticing that it seems to have more road noise than my old Accord. When I bought the car the dealer tried to sell me the super-duper 5-way package with lifetime wax, interior coating, blah blah blah. Supposedly, this package contained some super undercoating that was supposed to help quiet the car. I had undercoating done on my truck but it didn't help with the road noise. Is there anything that is known to help reduce the road noise?

THanks,

GTRIder

My Goodyear Assurance tires killed some road noise, and made the ride a bit smoother. I love my tires! But the best thing to do is dynamat or deadening the floor, trunk, and doors. It makes a huge difference but is also pretty expensive to do the entire car.

Besides expensive, sound deadening is heavy!

What year was your old accord and what tires did you have on them? What tires do you have on your 08?

As the other poster mentionedsome of the noise may be reduced with a quiter tires.I don't know about theAccords, but I know on the CRV'sHonda puts on really poor tires, and people can't wait for them to wear out and repalce them with better andquieter tires!
