That's the reason ..... what I meant is that I put in the Marvel when I have 1000 miles left on my oil change. Since you don't think that you have the right oil in, you basically already need a change. In your case, I'd drain 2-3 filters worth of oil and add the Marvel, drive for 1000 miles and get the gunk that's cleaned as well as the 10w30 out of the engine. Just before the oil change I'd also flush the engine .... refill with 5w20 and know that your crankcase is clean and has the correct oil. If you are real nervous about the heavy oil, change the oil twice at the end. This will ensure that all cleaners and old oil are removed.

Good deal. I don't know if I'll be able to get the engine flushed right now due to monet reasons. But I'll go ahead and add the Marvel and do the oil change anyways I guess. I'm also ganna check all the spark system. Thanks.

The last time I flushed the engine, it cost $8 for a can of Gunk engine flush. All you have to do is pour it into the oil fill when you drop the car off for the oil change, run the car for 15-20 min. and leave so the shop can do the oil change. Tell them that the flush is in there so they minimize how much the car is moved and they might also want to let the car cool for a half hour to let the oil cool down a bit.

So what if I'm changing the oil. I never take my cars to get the oil changed. I do all my own maintanence. Is it just poor the engine flush in, run it for about 20 min., let it cool down, then change the oil? When I had my car flushed, I actually had my buddies lube shop due it, I never thought to look for do it yourself stuff off the shelf.
