Default sri affecting map sensor?

ok, this just happens infrequently at first then the last 2 days its happened both days. check engine light comes on, can't rev past 4000rpm, and the last code i got was for a map sensor. would a dirty air filter cause this? or is there something else i should be looking for? the sri tube is an ebay cheapy but the filter is a dryflow, so i dunno.

tube is plugged in. i've had the sri on there for several months and now its starting to do this. i don't know if they are connected in some way or not. i believe it was a map high voltage.

i doubt it has anything to do with the SRI unless the little tube is clogged for some reason, even then it wouldnt have a high voltage error.
could be a faulty MAP sensor,
but wait for one of the other more experienced people to do anything about it.

i just don't know why its starting to do this all of a sudden. the engine light finally went off this morning, so i dunno whats up. car has 76k on it and about 9k left on the warranty, so if its gonna need to be fixed, i'd rather do it soon for the warranty. i don't wanna pay honda 80 bucks to just tell me its intermittent. since i have the sri on now, when/if i take it into the dealer should i put the stock intake back on?

I'd put the stock one back in so they don't try to give you any BS about it.

ok, so it came on again, this time i wasn't ragging it at all. i'm lost. any thoughts as to what it may be? it just seems odd for the map sensor to go with only 76k on it.

I have never seen another problem cause a MAP code except the MAP sensor. Or wire to the sensor.
