SRS light & Brake light
Hey Guys,
2001 Honda Accord LX 4dr,
2.3L Vtec Engine, Automatic Transmission.
I bought this car used in October of '11. I just have a couple of small issues that I wouldn't mind some help with.
When I bought the car, the "Brake" light on the instrument panel would come on at at random times while actually driving and turn off when braking and stopped at an intersection. Now, whenever the car is running, the light is always on, even though I know without a doubt that the E-Brake is not engaged. Faulty sensor?
Things I've tried:
Disconnecting and re-connecting the battery
engaging and disengaging the E-Brake several times while driving (<5 mph)
I'm also having an issue with the SRS indicator light. I haven't tried anything yet, since I really don't want an airbag blowing up in my face. Will Autozone or NAPA do a scan test for free and I can post the code to you guys?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Have you checked the brake fluid level in the master cylinder yet?
Air bag lights will need to be diagnosed by the dealer with a factory scan tool, you can get the codes manually, but it is very involved, and i'm not prepared to have somebody injure themselves by giving the procedure out.
