i have a 98 accord with the v tec 4cyl. Recently while i was driving around i was on the higway and my car seemed to stall, but it didnt turn off(when it did this the mantnence required light turned on then off). I got off of the highway and stoped for a bit and right when i pulled of my check engine light turned on, car still drove didnt seem to have a serious problem. I drove it for like 60 miles with the light on and then i had realized that i put on a cold air intake and maby it wasnt right because i never disconnected the batery to reset the computer or whatever, and then my check engine light went off, i have drove like 400 miles now and it still hasnt turned on , but everyonce in a while it stalls on me when im putting it in reverse, or going in first gear, and one time it stalled out completley while i was driving, ok is that enough info? (the light seemed to turn on like a week after i put the cold air intake on) Is it an o2 sensor or what? thanks!

 

Go to AutoZone or someplace like that & have them read the error code & tell you the actual code number. Even if the light's not on any more, it may still have the code stored. Then we'll have some information to base our guessing on.
