Default Stalls after warmup

So first I'd like to start out by apoligizing. I'm 17 and this is my first car. I'm a girl and I dont know anything about cars. Its an 1988 honda accord L4 2.0L Manual, Carborated. I'm not sure whats wrong. It was doing fine up until this last week. It just got a new battery, new tires, new brakes, an oil change and a new oil filter. It turns on and then after it warms up it dies. The battery light turns on breifly too. Sorry for the lack of info.

Does the battery light turn on while the engine is running, or right after it stalls out.

What work was done on the car, if any, right before you started having the stalling problem?

If you give it gas will it stay running? I'm trying to figure out is this might be and idle issue (won't idle when warm) or something else.

PS - I'm a fan of the 3rd gen Accords (86-89)

Ok, here are a few things we can try.....I really want to help as I like the 3rd gen (86-89) Accords.

If you remove the top of the air cleaner, like you were going to replace the air filter. A few "snap clamps" and two wing nuts. Once the top is off, there should be a gold color screen over the "throat" of the carb. There are two 10mm nuts holding that screen on.

Remove those nuts - don't drop them into the carb. Start the car an look down the "throat" of the carb - can you see any gas dripping? This pic has some areas highlighted that you need to look at. Also be sure the "flap"/butterfly is opening once the car starts to get warm.

When the car does die, does it start back up? Or do you have to wait some period of time?

Do you smell gas?

Also there are two fuel filters on this car, have they been replaced? One is easy, under the hood right by the brake booster/master cyl.

The other is at the rear of the car. Best to jack up the car and remove the left/drivers side rear tire to get to it.....I can give more details if needed.

I'm going to replace the fuel filters I have them already and its been starting sometimes, like my mom took me to school with it today and it started right up. I dont know where the air filter is but I'll look for it when I get home

My dad added some seafoam to the gas and ita running better. My dad thinks its the jets on the carborater. I guess the previous owner had the same problem. I think jets is the right word, the thing that shoots the gas in

If the car sat for a period of time then this could just be "bad gas". Which the seafoam will help with.....best thing is to fill it with fresh gas and a bit more seafoam (or something). At some point you do want to change to the two fuel filters.

The one under the hood is easy, if you get stuck with the one in the rear let us know and we can help.

Also, just for reference....here is a pic of the air cleaner.

That could make sense. I'll try that when I have time
