starter problem??

I wonder why only one? For only $4, consider replacing both so they match.

i know jim,but believe it or not the other side was not really worned out at all just dirty,theright one was actually worned out bad,i was suprised too and so does the seller of the contacts. beside i only had$6.00 with me at the time. thoughi cleaned out the plunger just to make sure it was not offforjust hitting that right contact.

Good Job and thanks for followup.

It's an easy starter removal, so I agree w/ your repair. If starter required extraordinary effort to remove/install, new contacts would be more important.

from our local starter/generator store. i did check out the stores online(sherco). once again,i really appreciated all your guy'shelp. thanks and have a good day
