Exclamation Starting problem! selling my Accord tomorrow please help!!!

Ok this guy is supposed to come pick this car up at 3 tomorrow!
it is a 94 ex automatic with the f22 vtec motor, a week ago the car started to not start sometimes when it is really hot outside and/or when I drive it for long periods of time but if I just let it sit for 5 or so minutes it would start back up, it has died on me once while I was driving it and then had the same starting problem, the last time I drove it I was stuck for about 10-15 minutes before it would start again and everybody I talk to is possitive it is the ignition module. and I am possitive it is not the main relay and I just replaced the plugs and wires not too long ago, so my question is where is this ignition module? everybody I talk to tells me different things like its by the distributor, its in the distributor, its under the distributor, its in the car under the dash. ???? where is this thing and what does it even look like? Thanks for any help!

before you start replacing parts , you need to diagnose when car does not start if it is lack of spark or lack of fuel

If you get no spark........

if you get no fuel

http://www.techautorepairs.com/mainrelay.html

scroll down the page and do a diagnose..

Have you checked the coil??? It could be goin bad... It could also be the igniter/ignition control module... Here is a pic of the dist... The ign. is part number 7 on the pic...

How are you posivtive its not the main relay??? This is more than likely the culpret of your problem... They have a bad reputation(90-94) for not allowing starting in hot ambient temps... The heat causes it to expand to where the contacts or solder joints won't complete the circuit... Then when it cools down it contracts and the circuit is complete once again... If you are getting fuel, and you have spark, then the ignition module and coil are not the problem... It has been my experience that whenm an ignition module or coipl are going bad you will exxperience engine shuddering or eratic tach movements
