No seat covers. Just cloth seats. Ihad a feelingit had to do with the seats. I guess they are just extra staticky.

You betcha! I just throw it in the nook on the inside of the passenger door until I get popped, then put it to work on the seats, console,& doorarmrests. It doesn't take much and smells nice. I'm still on the same can I bought in 2004.......
