Default Steam comming from plastic Radiator top up bottle

Honda accord 1990 lx

Hello,
I replaced the thermostat on my honda, and now I have steam coming out of the plastic bottle that hold the radiator cooling fluid, that is to the left of the radiator. What should I do?

When you changed the t-stat did you bleed the cooling system?

Make sure the rad is full, ONLY check/remove the cap when it is cold. Once it is full, re-bleed the system.

Then I have to ask, you replaced the t-stat for some reason. So this was not happening before the change, correct?

engine off,,,,,,,,,loosen the 12mm nipple,, add coolant ( 50-50 mix ) till no air comes out, once only coolant flows, tighten the nipple, fill radiator to top, install cap , start car up,, Also chk the cap make sure that it is ok, BOTH ,fans working ok ?? t-stat opening up ok ??lower hose almost as hot as top hose ??
