Exclamation VIDEO: steering wheel squeak when turning

Hi, the thread title says it all. On my 7th gen 6speed stickshift coupe the steering wheel makes some noise when I slightly turn it left and right.
Especially noticeable when in low speeds/parked. Talked to a mechanic and he says it is a 4 hour job to take the wheel apart and lube it and all the bushings.

Is this something I could try doing myself, even though I am not very techically inclined? He said he can do it for $50 if I leave the car there for the whole day, but I'd rather do it myself if it is not too hard and if there is a tutorial out there (preferably video) or anything that would help.

Thanks

Not sure I've ever seen a "how to" on this......is the noise from the wheel or lower in the column?

Well this could be fun

Does it do it all the time? Or does it only happen when the car has sat in the cold/hot for several hours and then goes away once the cabin gets to a "normal" temp?......yes I'm reaching here.
