Stuck temp door?

Stuck temp door?
Hi everybody. I'm new here though I've been reading the forum for awhile and its helped me out more than I could've imagined! Well to get to it, I own a 1995 Accord EX 5 speed and my problem is no heat! Living around SE Michigan and Toledo makes me not even wanna drive my Honda when there's no heat!
Things I've checked/done so far:
New thermostat. I know this isn't stuck open again or it would be doing that
crazy idle jump.
Coolant flush
Bled air out according to book and procedures found on here numerous times
Heater valve checked during flush, it operated perfectly
Drove like a maniac in a furious rage.
Heres some more background on it, during removal of the instrument cluster a few days ago the heater cable running down to what I assume is the temperature mix door became twisted and the control **** seemed jammed up. I removed it from the levers down there, but the heater control valve cable is still hooked up as normal. I was just turning that contraption down there back and forth manually to adjust my heat for a few days. Then all of the sudden yesterday it stuck on no heat! That's what brought all this nonsense of flusing and burping the system about. But I should've figured I didn't need to because both inlet and outlet heater hoses are scorching hot.
Which brings my question. Is that door that opens and closes on the heater core stuck? When I move the levers back and forth I do hear a thunk down there and the sound of the airflow changes. I'm lost. If the door is stuck, now what? Do I have to take the whole damn dash off? The airbags will probably blow and ill die of a heart attack. If its not stuck, what in the heck else could it be? Sorry for writing a whole book here. Any suggestions?

Does the lever on the valve in the engine bay move when you adjust the temperature from inside of the car?
Is the blower blowing any air at all? Does changing through the modes (floor, vents, defrost, etc) redirect the air?

Yes. The modes switch over perfectly, and the blower works on all four spots. As I said before the heater valve is working just as it should. I took it off and checked it while flushing the coolant. If you put your hand on the heater box under the dash where the heater core is, you can feel it is hot, but I still get no heat. When I move the lever down there I hear some door in there moving back and forth but still no heat? How come with all my GMs the heat was never a mystery?

It sounds like it is the air mix door or something broken from the lever to the door. I would download the 94 shop manual from the online manuals link in the DIY section from the spoon site I posted.
It will show you the steps necessary to remove the unit, and it looks like a lot of stuff needs to be removed.
