Just picked up a 15 V6 with 88k miles. Drives great but question is what's up with the slight surging under acceleration? Trans isn't slipping at all, like a 100-200 rpm slight surge under medium throttle. Heavy acceleration no surge, light none to imperceptible if it is there. Plan on doing oil, filter, plugs, air filter and trans flush. Any recommendations would be great, new to Hondas

 

I would start with doing a major tune up(adjust valves) and take a compression check along with checking for any codes. I used to have an Eclipse with the same type of hesitation. It was the spark pugs were not tall enough as the valve cover limits how far the spark plug wires would go on. I made the mistake of using Bosch plugs. For a Honda NGK or Honda plugs. A major tune up will give you a great starting point.
