i did mine, i found it looks alot better if you spray it with the nite shade, then wet sand it, then put some clear coat on it, looks alot shiner, then rubbing compound on the clear coat

when i sanded mine i used 220 grit. dont want any gouges too deep ya know?
when your done post some pics to see how it comes out. Oh and one tip, careful with the clearcoat, it caused me some troubles with drips. Dont lather it on, light coats are what did the trick

Thanks, that will help me a lot. Im pretty sure i know exactly how to do it now. I decided to go with the easier route of just getting new LED tails but my friend wants to spray his so this will help.

Looks best if you spray the insides and it isnt that hard if your careful. You don't have the horrible flat egg-shell look that ive seen either. Search this sight or look around in the DIY section of the honda-acura.net forum. I did it and it looked great. Make sure you wait till theyre dry to reassemble because the tint gets lighter as it dries.

if you live in a hot climate do light coats. we did my buddies and had to do alot of sanding because of ruins. we wet sanded with 1000 grit automotive paper. didnt use clear coat.
