the higher the number the shorter the gear.(i know its kinda reverse because people say shorter gear ratios when the number is actually higher)
you wont be going faster than the trannies can handle, they are out of a prelude so the motor revs to 8,000 rpms and top out around 140mph

The transmission does not dictate the redline of the engine. The engine does. Redline is set mainly based on valve speed and piston speed, but also takes into account the strength of the valve springs (to avoid float) and main bearing integrity (spin one and you need to rebuild the engine).

i recently went to a import show at edgewater and was lookin at all the cars and what not and got to thinking about selling my car for an older crx or hatch or integra. do you think its worth sellin my accord to get one of these? my car blue books at $2,655. if i could get some feed back on these. thanks doods
