thanks for your help man. yea my accord is at the bodyshop right now and i will get it back on monday and the first thing im going to do is a oil and filter change and get back to you on the results. cheers.

uhh not that i know of. my car has 232,000km and i just got the car used last november.

I would probably go ahead & change the PCV valve anyway. It may not be causing the clicking, but it is recommended maintenance (I need to change mine myself[:@]) If it were clogged, the engine should bog down though, but you never know.

little valve that sticks up out of the valve cover and has a hose attached to it (only thing sticking out of the cover I believe...)

it sort of it rythimic with the engine speed. but i think its the PCV valve.

Simply pull it out with your hand and replace with a new one. Super easy. Go buy a replacement at AutoZone or Advance (should be like $3 I think) then you will see exactly what it looks like. As sir-nasty said, it should be the only thing sticking out of the valve cover. It has a vacuum hose connected to it. After you replace it, if you still hear the clicking, check thevacuum hose. That may not be what is causing the clicking, it just kind of sprung into my mind.

Please let us know the results. Good or not

Maybe he needs his vavles adjusted. That what it sounds like to me.
