TPMS Valvet

TPMS Valvet
2012 Honda Accord,
I didn't have a torque wrench handy when I installed the TPMS valve. I tightened the nut snugly with a socket and didn't over tighten it on the alloy wheel. The rubber gasket around the valve stem looked normal after I tightened the nut. Will this pose a problem in the future because I didn't tighten it to the exact specifications?

As long as the there is no air leaking from the grommet area of the valve, then it is not a problem. But, if it starts to leak, then get a new valve grommet and new washer for the nut. Do not re-use the old grommet if it leaks, over-tightening the nut can also damage the grommet.
