TPS Calibration using ohms

I have the FSM. If it comes down to it ill hook it up to the harness on my car. I was just hoping to do this inside.

Pins 1 (sensor ground) & 3 (sensor +5) are either sides of the potentiometer resistor. Center pin 2 is the pot tap. You should have full resistance between 1 & 3 (~4.5KΩ) and variable resistance between 1 & 2. Ditto for voltage when the pot is powered.

I would get a resistance reading from 1 and 3 but not from the 2nd. I guess ill just hook it up to my car and use the voltages. It isnt difficult, I wanted to have that all done and ready for when I put it on my car.

Thanks for the help though. I now know that it is possible.
