Default Traction Control on 08 accord

does anyone know how to shut off the traction control on an 08 accord v6? whenever i try to e-brake slide or even while driving in snow, in comes on and it ends up doing the opposite of what it should. it cuts all power to the wheels for a brief second and i end up losing speed and traction. this is especially frustrating when trying to make it up a snowy hill and when i'm almost to the top, it comes on and i end up losing momentum and not making it up the hill. does anyone know what i can do about this? thanks

there should be a button somewhere that says 'TCS' and that will turn it on and off. On my '01 its next to the sunroof controls to the left of the steering wheel. Not sure where it is on an 08 though.

It is similar. The 2008 has a button on the lower left of the dashboard, that says "VSA" Vehicle Stability Assistance to turn it off. It is next to a cubby hole, unless you added the Honda ambient lights and switch which replaces the cubby hole. It is shown in the owner's manual. Sunroof/moonroof switch is on the ceiling console for the 2008.

there is a button for it on the left of the steering wheel but if i purposely try to slide using the ebake the VSA will come on, even if i have it set to off using the button. anytime the wheels lose traction it immediately comes on. all the button does is switch it from that setting to being on the whole time
